The Time is Now for Cedar Crossing

The proposed $275 million gaming, entertainment and cultural arts complex will be developed on the former Cooper’s Mill site, on Cedar Rapids’ northwest side.

Destined to be more than just a casino, Cedar Crossing Casino & Entertainment Center will be a premier entertainment destination and the largest gaming project in Iowa’s history, led by Peninsula Pacific Entertainment and the Linn County Gaming Association. The Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission will vote whether to approve a gaming license for Cedar Crossing in February 2025.

About the Project

The Linn County Gaming Association (LCGA), Peninsula Pacific Entertainment (P2E) and the Cedar Rapids Development Group (CRDG) have partnered on delivering a world-class gaming and entertainment venue for Cedar Rapids, the Corridor and the state of Iowa. Local unions, businesses and nonprofits, as well as the Cedar Rapids City Council and Linn County officials, have all enthusiastically voiced their support for a gaming facility in Linn County.
